Sameer Soni and Neelam's dream wedding

Here's how the star couple celebrated their special day

Sameer Soni finally made an honest woman out of Neelam Kothari, and the couple got celebrating with their closest T'town friends at a simple reception in Mumbai. The party was at the Taj Land's End in Bandra, Mumbai last night (January 23), and among the guests who turned up to congratulate Sameer and Neelam were Karishma Kapoor, Raveena Tandon, Ekta Kapoor with her parents Jeetendra and Shobha, Mandira Bedi, and Farah Khan. Salman Khan, who hosted 'Bigg Boss 4' in which Sameer was one of the participants, wasn't there but representing the Khan family were brothers Arbaaz and Sohail with their families as well as Alvira Khan.

t seems that Neelam and Sameer's close friends Karan Johar and Hrithik Roshan wanted to be there but couldn't make it as they had committed to appearing at a fashion show for Shabana Azmi's Mijwan project, which was happening at the same time.
The couple, of course, were glowing as you can see in these pics. They have no immediate honeymoon plans because as Sameer had explained earlier, "I've stayed away from Mumbai long enough because of 'Bigg Boss'. So, no honeymoon for now."
"But yes, kids are definitely on the anvil. Both of us are so quiet, we need some activity in the house," he added, with a laugh.

Neelam had said, "Yes, I am very happy. We plan to start a family immediately. We want lots of kids."

She later posted on her Twitter page, "Thanks for all your love and good wishes! Samir and me are truly touched and grateful.. Love u all! Xxx"
