Ajay's shock advice to Kareena-Saif

"Don't get married," Kajol's hubby says
Ajay Devgn's not known for making controversial statements, but looks like all it takes is an appearance on 'Koffee With Karan' to change things. Ajay's going to be on the show for the first time this season, and he's already joined the ranks of Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor in coming up with comments that cause a stir. Here's what happened when he was shooting for the show.

It seems that Karan Johar asked Ajay in the rapid-fire round what advice he would give to Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. Ajay shocked Karan when he replied, "Don't get married!"

Well, it could be that Ajay was just joking or is there something he knows about the Kareena-Saif relationship that everyone doesn't? We'll be waiting to decode that statement when the show airs.

Sarah Palin on State of the Union Address: WTF!

In a play on President Obama's State of the Union address and its "win the future" theme, Palin used the text-friendly phrase "WTF" several times in an interview.

Somehow we doubt she meant "WTF" to mean "win the future" here ...

Another Palin quote on Fox News: "His theme in the State of the Union was the “WTF,” you know, “Winning the Future.” I thought, “OK, that acronym, spot on.”

"There were a lot of WTF moments throughout that speech."

A few thoughts before we turn it over to your comments:

* Who is Palin's publicist?! Much like the blood libel remark, this was a prepared line. Basically harmless? Sure. But why go there?! She loves to stir the pot, but doesn't she want to appear dignified and avoid backlash? Once?
* Will this hurt, or enhance Tracy Morgan's opinion of her?

Katrina's romantic wish revealed

Who's the man she wants writing her a poem?
She is considered one of the most beautiful women in Bollywood, but surprisingly no one has ever written any romantic poems for Katrina Kaif. So Kat's made it known that she wants a poem written for her, and she's even zeroed in on the man for the job.

"Nobody has ever written a poem for me. But if someone actually writes a poem for me, I think that will be very romantic," she said at the launch of Pritish Nandy's book of love poems 'Tonight, This Savage Rite'.

And it's not one of B'wood's hot hunks that Katrina has in mind to write her a poem. The 26-year-old surprised everyone when she said: "I want Gulzar saab to write poems for me."

Gulzar, 74, who has written many songs for Hindi films and has many poetry books to his credit, was present at the event and said: "Inshallah, I would write a poem for Katrina for sure."

And what did the star have to say about love itself? "Even though love is known to cause pain, disappointment, disillusionment, still I don't want to be pessimistic about love. I would rather want to have a positive approach to love. I believe that there can be a happy ending, because love is the most beautiful thing in the world."

But for all those romantic thoughts, when asked about Valentine's Day plans, Kat said, "I have no plans. I will be working on the day."

Adrienne Beasley: From Farmer to Finalist?

The 22-yer old Kentucky native is a farmer who was adopted by white parents at the age of two. She hit every note on Lady Antebellum's "American Honey" during her allotted time in front of the judges, prompting Steven Tyler to say he almost cried. Check out the performance now:

Apps that tell you what to say

Smartphones are perpetually blamed, ironically, for our lack of communication. Incessant text messaging, constant "Words with Friends" games and endless Facebook updates often distract us from face-to-face conversation.

As Gizmodo's Sam Biddle wrote, "Phones, for the first time in their history, are being designed to undermine their primary function ... actually facilitating a world in which I never have to talk to anyone."

It's not mobile phones alone that are stopping us from interacting, Richard Ling, author of "New Tech, New Ties: How mobile communication is reshaping social cohesion," argues. In fact, his research shows cell phones actually improve communication between you and your closest companions; while waiting for the bus it's easier now to text a friend or call up your mom.

However, when people have the ability to surf the web from their smartphones, they're distracted from that connection opportunity.
